Get To Know Me!

Question: How many cruises have you taken and what were the most significant? I have been on five to date. As a relative newbie in this business I am still learning what defines a truly great cruise experience and an average cruise. My favorite cruise was probably my week on Holland America's Maasdam- a vacation cruise!

Question: What is your favorite cruise destination and why? I found Cancun Mexico to be charming. The beaches were beautiful and the town was very clean and not too congested. Of course that was the week after spring break!

Question: What was the most exciting cruise you ever planned for someone and why? Right now I am planning one of Cruise Everything’s largest incentive groups ever, the Quacker Factory Cruise. It has been quite an undertaking as I am dealing with people from all over the country with many special needs. The people have been great fun to work with over the phone and internet, so I look forward to sailing with them.

Question: What do you enjoy the most about cruising? I am so amazed that there are so many activities and happenings on a ship. I love that you can explore different ports every day or so, and if you don’t like one, you can get back on the ship and know that you will be somewhere new the next day!

Question: What do you believe is the biggest misconception about cruising? Many people are really worried about the different diseases that are popping up, from the Sars scare to last year’s Norwalk. The chances of getting these on a ship are so slight, and I think the media has really inflated the actual number of cases that appeared on the ships.

Question: What are your personal favorite cruise lines and ships? I am most familiar with the Royal Caribbean ships and am impressed with the way the folks who work for their line handle business. They are definitely most helpful and accommodating. The Princess ships I find very well laid out, and I love that many of their ships have affordable balcony accommodations.

Question: What is the best part about being a part of Cruise Everything? I can’t imagine a better place to learn about the cruise travel business than here. The staff here knows this business so well, besides being really fun to work with and great friends.

Question: What has been your proudest moment at Cruise Everything? I am proud utilize my decent organizational skills in getting the Quacker Factory group together. It’s a great challenge, and I think the trip is going to be a really rewarding experience when it’s all over.

Question: What is the most important piece of advice you ever received? If you can do anything besides acting, do it…at least for awhile!
